Timothy Spitzer DDS

Dr. Spitzer is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. While at Northwestern, he worked for the Department of Human Microanatomy in the capacity of adjunct faculty. He also completed an externship at the “Presbyterian Home” of Evanston , Illinois and volunteered extensively for the “Peoples’ Saturday Morning Clinic” providing dental care to children of under-privileged families.
Soon after graduating, he worked on a military base which is located overseas as “Chief Dental Officer”. During his time there he was tasked with overseeing all dental clinic operations. This position also offered numerous advancement opportunities which included extensive continuing education in different aspect of dentistry. After relocating back to the NOVA area, Dr. Spitzer became busy with private group dental practice. During some of his free time he supervised dental hygiene students at the clinic located at NVCC and latter developed and taught the course in head and neck anatomy for hygiene students at the NVCC and Germana Community College campuses. He is an “INVISALIGN” certified dentist and will continue to provide dental services for all family members in our practice. He brings more than 26 years of experience as to our office and combines this experience with successful completion of continuing education credits in root canal therapy, oral surgery, periodontal “gum” treatments, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and children’s dentistry.
